It's very one dementional, would you say?

Monday morning 9am. Zzzzz. Awake since 6am and I'm still not awake. Who interested in this sh*te anyway? I'm only writing for myself and I'm bored. Why would anyone else be interested?

Monetize?

In order to monetize my blog, I must first enable cookies. Doesn't this mean I'll be prey to all sorts of ads and other irritations that I'm currently safe from? I don't want to lower the cookies barrier, so I won't for the moment monetize. I know it's just for the exercise, and it's just a couple of clicks anyway, so I'm sure I'll survive without it.

No Blackboard! :-(

This is the first weekend I've had "free" since I started in September, and I can't get into Blackboard!. Every other weekend I've had to work on Sat or Sun and I'd planned to catch up on loads of work, look at the CA assignments and write up my notes. Lucky for me neither of the group assignments are due for some time, but imagine if there were this week, as they are for some! They must be really, really p!*$£d!

Introduction

Well I got here, fianlly. This is something I've wanted to do for over 30 years, (Study psychology, not write a blog!) but circumstances didn't allow it for one reason or another. So now, here I am, an auld wan like me, in college with all the young uns. Funny thing is, I don't feel that different (mentally!) than I did when I was 18. Can't say I wish I still was still 18 tho, cause that would mean I wouldn't have lived the life I did up till now.



I'll keep this as up to date as I can, as a sort of diary as a mature student. Everyone's perspective is different, but mine may be just that bit more different as I'm over 30 years older than the average student age. (Good God, am I really that old?)
